slightly. If you do the other skids after, the mounting holes you drill to mount the tcase skid will need to be moved back by the metal thickness (3/16")

Bilstein 5100's at .85 over stock, Relentless fabrication aluminum skid plate.
Just got through installing the aluminum skid on my 2014 Taco. The only problem I had was that I was sent 4 10.9 bolts with the plate. Used the stock 17mm head bolts, (as instructed) in the first 4 mounting positions, when I got to the back of the skid, I just grabbed 2 of the 4 bolts sent....And struggled with that for a while. Looked on the installation page on here, and realized the 3rd cross member takes 7.9 bolts. (I believe that is the size). Just used the old ones off the orig. skid...(The front ones) and it's on. VERY nice product, fits VERY well, and yes, the drain plug lines up perfectly with the skid drain hole, (4 cyl.).

Question for Eric, can you do skids that work with a 6" fabtech lift? Still window shopping at this point because of $$, but want to lock on what products I end up getting. You're #1 right now because you'll do a weld-it-yourself kit.

I kind of want to buy your DIY bumpers and, weld on sliders, and skids all at once to save on shipping. Problem is I can't see them working with the lift I have.

Sorry I dont see them working aside from possibly the Tcase skid depending on where your drop bracket kicker braces attach to the truck

I could if I had a truck to design off, but obviously you're a long ways away and I don't get many drop bracket lifted trucks into my shop

What measurements would you need? I might be able to work with you on something. I'I'd build my own if I had a brake.

It's really getting the trapezoid frontal plate right. I can do a support/filler on the bottom of the bracket to bolt to making it flat. Then take that and run it back for the diff/rear bracket portion and bolt it back on the rear bracket. Hmm I wonder if I could just make it a 2pc and weld it in a jig since I don't have a brake.

What's the estimated wait time to ship on the diy bumper kits?

Hey guys, getting a pretty decent vibration since installing mine and trying to hunt down the problem.
-My initial thought was my 1" diff drop spacers, deleted, still vibrating.

My next two thoughts are either
A: this exhaust bushing? If that's even what it's called, resting against the tcase skid or

    IMG_0857.jpg

B: the mid skid isn't flush against the crossmember.
    image.jpg

It doesn't sound too angry but it's driving me nuts, id would very much appreciate any ideas or insight into the problem

Maybe rocks/pebbles up in the skids rattling?
Other than that see how much clearance there is between the drop part for the exhaust and the actual exhaust cross over tube

I think it is the exhaust crossover on the tcase skid. Had a buddy turn the truck on while I was beside it looking/ listening and that's exactly where it sounds like its coming from. Gonna pull it off and see if its still still vibrating but, if that winds up being the issue what action would you suggest I take? And thank you for the prompt response Eric, very much appreciated.

    Yup, found it :/
Would I be better off grinding the plate in the area or space the points that I drilled?

Never seen a rub there before! I would just grind that area down farther toward our end cap on the cross over drop that is welded to the main part of the plate. Should do the trick just fine without messing with anything structurally

Sorry we don't manufacture any skid plates currently. Glad to hear you love the bumper though! :)

Working on my lights and winch. Would love to get it quoted for the rear high clearance bumper as well. Thanks.
