Both me and another friend have Vibe kayaks. They really are amazing for fishing.

I don't like it either--I'll go on rare occasions if I'm asked to, but never on my own. The girlfriend loves going by herself and did often whenever she had a weekday off (well, before this pandemic she did anyway).

I'd so much rather watch something in my living room and be able to pause it if I need to.

In general, I like a series better than a movie. We've been watching some older ones that I'd never seen before. We finished The Sopranos recently.

I know my lawn is! Between the heat and my kids being home full time running around in the back yard, I now have a dust bowl. The grass is all dead and gone. Even the crab grass has died.
Looks nice but 'spensive for camping! Puts you in a nice spot though.

I doubt this rain will help with anything but MUD.

My front yard is salvageable. If we get a good soaking rain, there's a chance it will green-up. The back yard is a lost cause. I don't even think I'll end up with mud. The ground is bare and fairly tightly packed at this point, I think the water will just sheet off.

Back yard is still green could use the water. Front yard is rough but could pull through with some rain. I did clover this spring, that is doing really good all things considered. Might need to get some more.

I mowed my weeds for the first time this year this weekend. I'll probably need one more mow before the snow comes.

Mine is still super green and growing much faster than I'd like it to, but we have seen a decent amount of rain over the past few weeks.

If we stick around here I will be building a rain collection system for watering the lawn. For me the added cost of a couple hundred bucks a month isn't worth it, but it sounds kind of cool to set up a rain collection system. Legal to do it here too, so there's that! I'd have to install the irrigation myself though, since I'm cheap. I was thinking on it yesterday I think I could pull off 3 zones, 5 or 6 heads in the back yard, planters on misters, and 3 or 4 heads up front. But we also might just move to Texas so we'll see :p

My grass at the house is in great shape but lots of shade. My business needs watering every week or browns and dies bad. Huge chunks of it get full sun 12+ hours a day. Trading a wedding for irrigation system though and I am so excited!!! Wanted one since we opened but couldn’t justify it...

Just as a “FYI” I asked the other day about U-pol adhesion promoter and how long you can apply before it’s worthless.

they got back to me this morning and the answer is 72 hours! Pretty impressed it works more than 24 without a top coat honestly

So got a new truck and want to see what I can do to keep the hitch receiver from rusting like every other truck I have had (especially on the inside edge where the hitch tends to rub and slide). I've seen people coat them with fluid film and reapply as needed, but not sure if there is a better way?

Depends on how much of a mess you want to deal with. WD-40 is the least messy but needs the most frequent application. On the other side of the spectrum would be Never Seize, which sticks around for a long time but is god-awful messy to deal with. Fluid Film is a good compromise for longevity/mess.

    Take it of :rofl::rofl:

the fluid film or wool wax should do it tho honestly. Or don’t drive in the winter or rain.

Our cape cod spot is more lol but has a pvt beach. The pools and little water park are great. My wife doesn't do rustic lol and I don't mind luxuries

It's definitely missing a pool side bar though for some margaritas :)
