I'm actually working on a setup similar to the one I have. But not using wood. The one I got is from victory4x4 but it is a bit pricey. So this time I'll just build it myself. Not gonna lie the mounts are solid. (Rockymount fork adapater) Might show some movement in the video I made but that's just me holding the camera. I've ridden for long miles in high winds, washboard roads, hasn't failed me yet. I love it.

Pretty sure I bought a generic Swagman mount. I'd have to check again but the fit on whatever I bought is dismal at best.

You should check out rocky mounts they have adapters that come with the mount to apply to your fork whether its too loose or too tight.

Went to visit the eastern sierras , specifically lone pine and the alabama hills. Such a fun play ground and cool area. Hope to go back soon.

Truck has been performing great but now I think I need a roof rack.

Finally was able to make it to holcomb valley. Also added a water port to the bed rack worked great till the water froze in the tank and didn't come out anymore.

Finally installed my roof rack. From victory4x4. And got the wheels cleaned up a bit. Excited to install my awning from roam adventure co too. And soon moving up to try the 285 km3s.

Added a 4800 cargo box from harbor freight for some stuff on the top. Will be prob be adding one more not to bad for 40$ .. also somethin exciting comin. If only it wasnt back ordered

What are the specs on your suspension setup? I saw you have an eibach pro kit but if you could elaborate on that I'd appreciate it. What all have you done to the rear? Which UCA's are you using? That kind of stuff.

Hello I bough the eibach pro truck lift. Thats a 2-3 inch lift depending on the notch u set it to. I set my fronts to the 1st notch (the lowest) I bought new kyb strut mounts at the front for easier assembly. I have oem control arms at front. At the rear I bought wheelers add a leaf of 1.5 and I kept my overload leaf in. And of course I have eibachs rear shocks that comes with the kit from eibach pro truck lift. let me know if u need any more info , willing to elaborate further

wuddup everyone first time joining tacomworld. hope to learn some cool new stuff and share my progress in building my truck to my needs when im out camping / offroading. also enjoy seeing everyones trip reports and seeing how much is out there. so heres my progress so far! from the first day i got it. in its full stockness.

i really didnt like the front grill, got my knock off one from motorgenic and replaced it quick.

i started looking for some wheels and got a sweet deal from one of my local toyota dealers for the trd pro 4runner wheels in black.

i was going to slap them on the next day , except i changed my mind and went another direction.

i was looking for some tires to run for a bit until i could get my lift, so i got 5 ko2 tires at 90% tread still on them. for 500$ went with 265/70/17 have no complaints about them yet. theyve done great so far

most people dont like the white letter out but. eh i like it

i was lookin around for some good companies that made armor and came across victory4x4 and decided to try them out. hadnt seen too many reviews but none the less got their sliders.

they were a bit heavy but so far i loved the way they looked.

holy jim is cool when muddy. other then that its ... closed still.

i really wanted to camp and be able to take my wife, (her not being very fond of ground camping) i decided to invest in a bed rack system. and being that i was already pleased with my sliders, decided to go with victory4x4 again. they have a modular mid bed rack. so i ordered it and waited for it to arrive.

in the meantime, i visited joshua tree and was camping using a budget camp setup on my truck bed. with an inflatable matress. it was nice but the mattress wasn't very comfortable.

i visited maple springs road up to the main divide, trail is super fun.

wuttup yall, not much of a build update, but of my adventure log i guess. anywayyy Got a new doggo, "Onyx", already peed in my tent so... yeah , other than that got some sweet new roam gear. worth the investment. made the clutter in my rear seats and bed so much better, planning on getting some more for some of my extra camping equipment

went up to big bear and camped out at coon creek yellow post site, nice and quiet and isolated. found at night when the temp dropped too low for my comfort that i needed a heater.

the following week i went up to yosemite, i never get tired of seeing this place

on our way back home we decided to visit pismo beach and camp right next to the ocean. not too bad for 10 bucks i guess
