Well if BNKU and BNKD can both be green at the same time I guess anything is possible...

It's a function of their daily change, not their value. So, yes they would have to crash but they could in theory get NRGU down to 0 without being at 0. I don't know if they'd do a reverse split to keep it from going to 0 or not, but....yup.

Every time I think I know something, I realize I don't. And once I do learn something, it leads to like 10 more questions/unknowns. Whatever, I'm still early on. We'll get there.

That's why I'm still here and holding on. Like. There's that hope that maybe even later this year it spikes back up, but good lord is it painful in the meantime.

 

Isn't that normal? They broke through the resistance and have a new ceiling and should fall, then climb and bounce off the ceiling and floor until they break through one of those again. The bigger you are and the faster you climb means you will probably have significant drops in situations like this, no?

I am still new to this, so I may be way off, but that is my understanding of it.

I did something EITHER smart or stupid. Had 211 NRGU, dropped 161 so have 50 left, from the sale of the 161 went to IXC. So I'm still in this NRGU boat and will likely end up holding onto those 50 for longer than I planned with the whole kit and kaboodle. And still exposed to oil, but at least starting to diversify my monopoly monies.

I haven't set a trail. I'm home watching it for now. I should unload at least a few of them to hedge but if the stimulus package gets announced this week things will go up. Plus there's 13 1/2 trading days till they release earnings. This new ATH will get passed if they beat earnings. I could sell them all and wait for a dip but if that doesn't happen it's missed profit. First world problems. lol

Got bored, bought stock sold for $650 profit in about an hour. Don’t worry about percentages though lol. I haven’t saw anything that gets me going recently, mainly because I miss out on the big stuff on my watch list.

I did apply for my tdameritrade account to be unlocked for options trading, I don’t know why it’s locked though?. So time to learn.

 

Have you done it before with TD? By default they only approve to buy/sell securities. At least, options are another box to tick when opening the account. I did it a few weeks ago to open up options, haven't started though - still need to learn, thought having it as an option (heh) would push it but, hasn't really yet.
