    I work a lot. I am working on the deck which I work for house remodeling business. I am trying to get it done before Rush meet. I am off today and I get things done around the house, too.

    That's why I haven't been on here much. If I work more hours on the deck, then deck will be done sooner than later. You know?

    Ham radios will not transmit on CB frequencies. Most mobile ham radios will only transmit on UHF/VHF which is a relatively higher frequency than the CB uses, and requires a different antenna and tuning. Also most mobile mounted ham radios transmit on 5 watts as the lowest possible power output, where the FCC limits CB output to 4 watts, so the ham radios are programmed not to transmit on those frequencies, even if the rig can receive on it. As someone else pointed out, you're going to need a separate rig. In any case, sounds fun.
