lol HOA codes... That's pretty good, I'm gonna use that one. Speaking of HOA's I cannot wait to get out from under mine. If I could get away with parking my bus in my back yard to make working on it easier it would be halfway done by now. As it is it's parked about 40 minutes from home... And all my tools.

Still doesn't make sense to me. Pretty soon we'll all have to wear life jackets and reflective vests on the shore

You're borderline, dude. The ARB bumper is heavy. Does the winch have synthetic rope or wire cable? If it's wire you're at the top of the 650's and the bottom of the 700's.

I'd say you're all right with the 650's if you're keeping the sway bar on.

700lbs of spring resistance vs 650lbs. With the 700's it will ride more like a pickup, you might feel the bumps a bit harder but you won't be at risk of reaching maximum compression and hitting the bump stops.

With the softer coils it's going to soak up bumps a bit better and kind of float. You'll have less effect in the cab but your shocks will be traveling up and down more and on bigger bumps you'll likely find bump stops. You'll have more body roll in high speed corners but if you're keeping the sway bar and not running the Baja 1000 odds are you'll prefer it and be just fine.

Yeah, back in South Austin apartments living days, I was not even allowed to keep my stock car on a trailer parked next to someone's boat. Never made noise, never worked on it there - but it had to go. To Round Rock (in a field), before I finally found it a home in Bastrop....

Loving all this spring and shock discussion...

No one ever ran them at the Austin track while I was there, though there was a course through the infield.

887s with softer nirtochargers, 1/4in spacer to get that full 3in and retain it in case of sagging down the road.

We ran in East Texas and colt field before they shut it dow. To many people getting hurt. Then we all went to the demo fights. Was a blast. Loved the old monte Carlos or big cads if ya could find them. But we was poor back then.

You can tell by my "fire suit" that it was not a high buck effort.
Spent $6,600 chasing $660 in prize money back in 1983!
