A 2010 Ford Ranger sport. I just searched through 10 years of photos to post a pic of it and I found none. I have 8 pictures of my riding lawn mower though... That really says something I think.

2015 Mazda 3 and 2001 GMC Sierra. The Sierra was getting too old and had over 300,000kms on it. The Mazda 3 was a fun city car and great mileage. Figured I'd combine the two into a Tacoma - three years later and no regrets! IMG_20190114_1443027.jpg

Very fast car. Pretty good in the snow too. I towed my ~2800 lb boat around for probably close to 30,000 miles with that little truck and, although the engine was willing, the transmission and chassis were not well suited to the task. Does your wifes have the start-up death rattle? Ours developed it around 140K miles and it just sounded bad, bad, bad. If I had it to do over I'd have just keep the Rav4 as a beater for my son.

Good looking GMC...I just like those...I have a 2005 Tahoe (around 180K Miles I think) and it has been super (I bought it in 2007 with 17K miles)!! My youngest drives it now.

Well i sold it privately, made more sense for me, but there she is. Loved that truck, wish i could have kept it and made it into a bush truck.

Was this when ford owned Mazda? Never realized how that is nearly identical to a ranger

Its a rebranded ford ranger. Just like mazda tribute=ford escape. This truck was built in Michigan Ford plant. If im not mistaken ford and mazda joined in 1994. I bought my parts from ford dealer and told them i have ford ranger fx4. My mazda dealers had very little parts for these trucks, not very many of them on the road. Was great rig man, never let me down in 7 years of ownerrship and i broke even selling it. Rangers used to be excellent trucks.

2019 Forester Sport. It was a terrible deal in terms of pricing. 10/10 would not recommend.

It was getting to that point. When it hit 180,000 miles and I started hearing a ticking in the motor I knew it was time to get rid of it.

Price tag didn't bother me at all. The Raptor is a fun truck but the build quality is garbage. I've had many vehicles (I only keep my vehicles for a couple years tops) and I've never had one that had to go in for repairs as often as the Raptor. Transmission issues (never were able to fix it despite being in 4-5 times), door panels would fall off when you'd close the door, tail gate lock quit working, service departments are terrible to work with (I tried all the Ford dealers around here and they were all the same...terrible), etc. The list goes on. Lots and lots of quality issues, both with build quality and customer service. It's going to be a long time before I'd ever consider another Ford vehicle.

I was looking at the Crosstrek and Forester before landing on the Tacoma.

Curious what you mean "in terms of pricing." Are you talking about what you get (or lack thereof) for the price paid?

My family had four Ford's growing up and only one of them was reliable. I haven't purchased one as an adult and I don't plan to. All manufacturers have come a long ways, but I'm still wary.
