I just had my king 2.5 ext Travel with heavy Dakar’s set up installed and I’m having a pretty decent rake. I’d ideally like to not have it so extreme but the tech said the fronts were adjusted as high as he recommended. My concern is that I’m sitting about at a 2” difference from front to back right now. Fronts are at about 23” and backs are around 25” give or take. Granted I don’t have weight in the back yet and I’m putting a tent soon so I’m sure that will help.

Should I have the fronts checked again to double check if they are sitting too low or will the rake settle in your opinion?

The rear will settle, but also expect the front to a little bit. Your tent will help

Why did you get Dakar HD's if you're not carrying anything in the bed? They are intended for 600# static weight. I'd take a leaf out.

^^ Just re-read the post and saw you are getting a tent. Wait until you have it fully loaded before you change anything. But you still might be on the light side for those springs.

That’s exactly what my alignment guy said this morning. Pretty much just wait until tent and rack is on and if needed we can remove a leaf. I think I’m just coming from a level Bilstein 888 set up so any rake is just noticeable for now.
