Stop buying Dodges :boink: Also, I've seen it but :worthless: It is pretty sweet looking!

I've been using Amsoil HDMP (Heavy Duty Metal Protector) and been having good results. It leaves a sort of waxy finish and doesn't collect dirt and grime like Fluid Film but seems to do a decent job against rust. I hit all the rusty spots as they appear on the truck and camper, including the whole black iron propane line. I'll try to remember to throw a can in the camper for our next trip, I'll give you a can if you want to give it a shot (I bought a case a while ago so I have a few kicking around).

All told, still a lot less than a hotel room in those parts! With kids, I'm finding myself more inclined to do the more expensive resorts that have a lot of amenities to keep them occupied. When it was my wife and I, and even when my kids were infants, we always did more rustic camping (still do a fair amount of it). This year, with all the COVID BS, I'm doing full hook ups only. No bath houses this year.

I grew up right down the road from there and always used to sneak in and use the playground. It is almost unrecognizable now.

will definitely take a can if you have an extra laying around. And as requested, the soon to be 2019 rust bucket

Many of my friends and family have been buying Rams. Their interiors are great and since trucks are more of a lifestyle vehicle than a work vehicle these days, I think it's smart. I think they drive a lot like cars, compared to Ford and Chevy.

I’ll be honest I’m actually kind of excited for the Dakota rebirth. If they keep the Dakota name. Either way mid size dodge. Hopefully it’ll be decent I think they said 2022?

Mine isn't much better, just browning really. I could care less to have a golf course style lawn though..but the garden and the "green" will get some good water which is less work for me

Between being homebound plus my love of the pool I just booked mosquito spraying. Cannot wait

honestly as long as it’s green it’s good. That’s why I started with the clover this year. We’ll see if that continues through next year. I just don’t like the dead patches that’s all.

I think they should dump that Dakota name. There weren’t many redeeming qualities about the old Dakotas and the few that survived are complete rust buckets. They’d have to do one serious revamp to get my attention (not that I’m in the market but, you know...)

    had a v8. :D

I mean they redid the 1500 so I’m hopeful the mid size rocks it too. I’m not in the market now either but once they’re couple years long in the tooth I could be.

I for one think they should do something with the ram name. Ram 1000 or ram 500 instead of 1500 :)

Is there a standard bolt that is used to attach the plate to a vehicle (4Runner)? I needed to remove a bolt (maybe a screw with the end cut/broke and it took way too much effort to get out. I didn’t put as much effort putting it in, and now is about half way. The other side goes in fine and looks like the same bolt/screw. I guess it’s really a Phillips head bolt.

I need to figure what the best option is, as the late is going to rattle and that will drive me crazy.

Ive seen phillips heads screws, flat head and ones that use sockets. I'd just go to local store or HD and take out the good one, then go get two that match that thread and use those.

It's got to be sort of generic though, I just don't know what the size is. And if no one else does that might be an easy way to figure it out.

Reg and extended cabs truck look the best 100%

I like what ram is doing but the Dakota name is perhaps not what I would bring going forward. No idea what to call it though.

Someone needs to bring a single cab 6-6.5 foot bed back. I don’t see it being ram based off of their other offerings though.

the new ford sounds like it’s gonna be a worthless POS too. 50 inch or smaller bed. Worse than their stupid sportstrac truck that never sold.

tacoma might be only game in town.
