the 5100s have different perches for the buttom "cup" that the spring rests in....the thing that was crooked on fink's second spring. unfortunately you need a spring compressor to set them to different notches. however, toytec makes a kit that allows them to work like coilovers, with a spanner wrench and collar type system at the top.

Is it the progressive aal? If so then yes, they are better than a normal aal if you don't tow or haul too much.
