My house is almost on the center line of the "cone of uncertainty"...but having grown up here on the coast aside from tree falls, most of our home/vehicle/flooding damage comes by way of Nor'Easters.

This will be our first test riding it out "a named" tropical storm at the new home, new baby...refurbished/renewed generator, so it'll be interesting, already setup one bathtub bob (water storage device) for toilet flushing and dish washing should the generator not work. My then GF/fiance would give me shit for all my prep measures/supplies and food stores and cycling...well between SEEv and social unrest growing, she's especially grateful that we didn't have to start from scratch for ourselves, only had to stock up on formula and a few other baby specifics ahead of her arrival end @ of 2019.

Hey @McRib , what are those things called that you put on a hi-lift jack to engage the slider so you can lift the side of your truck by it's slider?
And, do you know if anybody makes an extended version? I have BudBuilt Rock Rails which are kinda tucked in, and I don't think that a regular adapter do-hickie will work.

An adapter?! Tucked or untucked if it’s under 2” the adapter should fit! @Shmellmopwho

I am not concerned with the slider diameter (which I believe is what you are saying), I am in need of an extended version because my sliders are nearer the truck frame and the jack will not reach the slider with a normal adapter.

If the slider tubing does not sit within this area then it is not safe to use. If you’re asking about something that will extend beyond this tip then it would not be the correct tool to use to lift your truck because the balance will change and the hi lift jack will want to fall forward towards your truck
