    Williams peep sight. No alterations needed to mount.
    With a long sight radius... and keeping in mind the practical effective range of a .22...
    This is perfectly adequate.
    These old eyes can't cope any more with buckhorn sights, but a peep sight is fine.

    Yeah, these were pricey while still made, and even more so now.
    But it's a finely made firearm, using old fashioned methods.
    New ones are custom items now.
    Used ones go for a lot more than when new.
    I'm glad I got mine 40 odd years ago, new.

    Still all I need for goddamn groundhogs in my garden.
