So have been thinking about purchasing a soft topper .Read most of the posts here and watched the videos on their site .Have some questions before I make my decision .

1.How is the overall build quality of their product ?
(from the install video the product looks a little bit flimsy)
2.Is it worth the money to purchase this product ?
3.How well does it do in the sun over the years?
4.Does one color fade more than others ?
5.Any noise or constant adjusting ??
Pics and opinions appreciated thanks all .

Love mine. Not flimsy in the least.

It is made from convertible top material and will last as long as you treat it like a convertible top.

Here is mine from my build thread:

BTW, @dilbert was spot on about using 303 Aerospace Protectent.

Yeah I use it every so often. Makes such a huge difference when it starts to loose it's sheen. I bought a gallon haha

1.How is the overall build quality of their product ?
(from the install video the product looks a little bit flimsy) quality is great. You can lightly rock the entire truck back and forth from the softopper frame.
2.Is it worth the money to purchase this product ? I'm cheap. I bought mine for 250 bucks. Not often I pay full price for anything
3.How well does it do in the sun over the years? I have the grey topper. The guy I bought it from had it for under 2 years. I've owned it for 2 years (ish) looks just like it did when I bought it. Cleans real easy.
4.Does one color fade more than others ? Don't think it fades but black seems to show the dirt pretty easy.
5.Any noise or constant adjusting ?? I think I lost a mpg when I installed it. Ive driven with the topper in strong highway winds 80 mph, I haven't heard any strange sounds. My OCD got the best of me and I found myself moving the topper by centimeters to "perfect" the fitment. I'm not saying the fitment is off, more personal problem than anything. I have no regrets getting the softopper. Best of both worlds, shell that is removed in like 5 minutes.
Pics and opinions appreciated thanks all .

Sea2Summit field buckles work better than the REI buckles. The side without the screw pin is more difficult to feed in the webbing on the interior of the Softopper though, I used a pocket flathead screwdriver to help coerce them in. Excellent results.

Thanks. The REI ones were a no go. The modded ROX Straps ones have been great and the ROX Straps still work perfectly.

@tonered has his in the bed rail in his picture. Mine go a little lower in actual bed I believe.[IMG]

I don't have velcro or anything on the tailgate and it doesn't flap around. It only flapped before I secured the front with the snap screws.

Best purchase I've made for the truck honestly, it gets more use than my suspension/tire/armor upgrades.

My front flap went the full distance. I kind of wish it would have at least reached under the rail.

It seems there are some slight differences on the long bed ones.

Proud member of the gallon club also. My brother in law just got one on his tundra and came over for the initial treatment of the 303 goodness.

Yep. No need for the Velcro on the TG.

Ohhh gotcha. Yeah mine wrap all the way around and go upwards, vertically. I don't have Velcro either. The ST is so god damn Convenient. My memory is the worst, so if I forget I'm supposed to be hauling something, it's a 5 minute ordeal to lay it down or remove it. Plus out of sight out of mind really works for me and my situation.

Yeah, mine goes way down and is held on place with Velcro with room to spare.

You're not allowed to post in the ST posts. Your mods are too desirable :(. Cost me too much damn money!
