Can a 2000 Tacoma 2.4l k&n airfilter work on a 1996 Tacoma 2.4l?

    He doesn't mean long as in length of part but long as in length of time....

    You are talking about the "cold air intake" tube and cone filter kit correct? Because if you are they are not a good investment for these trucks. The only thing you gain from it is a louder engine noise. If you really want k&n get a drop in filter that fits your stock box.

    Your engine will stay happier if you don't install that tube

    Km3’s 31’s,Lift,Sliders,rear ARB air locker,on board air, armor, hi shell
    Just put a snorkel on the 2.4l for the luls but tbh a snorkel is more of a cold air intake

    I'd definitely lul especially if your 5 lug is slammed...... now I need to by a 2wd to do this to!

    5 minute google search shows zero slammed trucks with a snorkel. I can be a trend setter :D

    Also the MAF sensors are different if The cold Air intake comes with the sensor housing that might be on the buyer to configure that .
