I'm impressed with the metals against the dollar turn, so far.

time will tell.

may take my first dip into options today..

 

NKLA and WKHS popping off too today, I know some of y'all were talking about those a few weeks ago.

What I took out of that: NRGU. So, yeah.

FUN, SIX, SEAS taking off today. Not sure why. But I'll take it. I have FUN, might flip half to SIX or SEAS. Or, might wait until the next bad news for movie theaters hits and put in CNK.

 

My guess is bargain hunting after the last 5 days. I hope it's not a bad sign for my Put position on DIS...hey maybe they're divesting from DIS into other parks...RIGHT

 

Saw something that I think SEAS beat their estimates, might be a rising tide all boats sort of thing.

Looks like I nailed it. Filled at $10.90. I own at $8.15 now. I'm telling you all the robin hoods sell at 10:15-30.

 

I'm at 5.40 5.19 I think now after I sold off some shares yesterday for IXC.

Checked - I'm at 5.19, but I think I gapped that when it was up, I think I was in around 4.70 and then sold at 5.15 and bought back in at 5.19 (or 5.20, but have some lower shares in there too).

Most day trades go for the open 9:30 - 10:30 and then the close, when the most action happens. SO makes sense, they and other platforms too probably sell off around 10:30 to take their donuts for the day and go.





RL is tanking today, might be a good bet. It's $64/share so outside the scope of my monopolies but long-hold, they missed earnings. Without knowing everything about them, they seem like a safe investment with a moderately decent dividend.

 

I had .37 as the breakout area on KOOYF.
the move I 'see' is to low .80s

We'll see..

 

Thanks to dividends I’m about $3 richer this quarter, it was auto-reinvested though so now I own fractions of shares.
I also chipped in another couple hundred buck to my account and bought another share of Boeing and more shares of CCL.
For CCL if they go back up to the $60 range I can sell my shares and profit just over 1K pre-tax, I’m estimating 800 post tax.
Or I could be wise and just hold onto them after selling a handful to recoup my initial investment.

 

sell your initial investment and let the profits ride. Or do like 90% of your initial investment. Whatever strategy you want.

 

I do believe the search for true price discovery in metals is underway.

multi-year thing in its infancy, imho. ymmv.

 

I’m kicking myself for selling my shares of $JNUG waaaaay too early. And then I keep forgetting to buy back in when it’s been dipping
