I am enjoying the 71 degree temp that came with the storm with the stupid name.

 

TL/DR: Pictured is a Winchester Model 67a. I am the 5th gen owner of one that is damn near brand new. It was originally purchased for $5 from Sears Roebuck. Lots of familial history. Favorite gun to shoot. Single shot, bolt action. Killed a trash panda on Sunday with it.






This is what I used to dispose of that "sick" raccoon on Sunday.




Single shot, bolt action Winchester Model 67a. Mine is stamped with "Sears Roebuck". My Great-Great Grandfather purchased it from HIS General Store back in Cal Creek in Kentucky sometime in the early 1900's for a whopping $5. Mine still looks like this one. Brand new.

This is by far the most fun to shoot out of all ZERO of the guns I own. I learned to shoot with it as a kid, just as my Dad, Grandfather, Great Grandmother and now, my kids. Its quick to shoulder, quiet and so insanely stupid accurate.

My Great-Great Grandfather used to have a competition every Sunday afternoon after church. They'd put a few chickens on the hillside across the valley and sit in the yard seeing who could harvest the day's dinner. Open sights, probably 150-200 yards away. They had fried chicken every Sunday. He'd feed the who holler. Pretty cool. Unfortunately, those good will characteristics skipped my Grandfather's gen....they were all piece of shit humans.

 

Guess I'll drain the gas from the generator AGAIN.
New smart TV gave Tornado alerts just as the power went out. I sure hope that setting can be turned OFF.

Everyone knows you should be punished for taking vacation, right? This is mine

I saw my arm was sliding out after I pulled away from a stop. Found a safe place to look/ fuss with it. I decided to stow it into the body and shut the pump down till I got to my next stop. I looked into my mirror constantly to check on it and it came out to within a couple inches of a pole . Would have taken it down and put my truck out completely

 

Hate my effing job more than you know. I just want to call an Uber and leave the piece of shit here
