free deposit money for me then. I wouldn't care just want to know.

 

did you tell him non refundable because hes going to make a big deal about it if he backs out i bet lol.

 

who cares if he does? he paypal'd me friends and family and I held it for nearly a month now.

 

just saying before he posts this guys a scammer all over you fb page lol.

 

he's still chatting with me, so no ghosting. he just went back and forth a week or so on getting shipping quotes and pricing out driving it back and such. which was fine with me. then he did a 1 week vacation. then he realized plane tickets went from 100$ to 400$ one way unless he came a little later and blah blah. I'm just like hey man that's all fine, but just give me a date, or send me more money haha

 

I don't care what he wants to do, I've got messages to prove it all.

 

I mean if it’s $100 I wouldn’t worry about it. If he wants it back cool, if not better.

 

it was 500$ deposit, but like I said I wouldn't care one way or another. unless noted as refundable, deposits are always assumed non-refundable.

 

lol I had people jump on some of these old tires I posted for free, within minutes I mean...and said they'd come get them. they're still sitting by my driveway...

 

If he pressed it would you go to small claims court over this?

nope and he can't take me to it.

we made an agreement on money to hold the truck. he paid, I held. agreement met.

I wouldn’t say he can’t, we live in a very sue happy world. Sure he may lose, but if papers are presented to you about court you do have to go.

let me add, I’d assume you have to go. I don’t think you can tell the court I’m not going, but honestly I’ve never been to court.

 

evidence would have the case thrown out. no skin off my back to prove a person wrong.

 

Idk, I'd be curious to hear from someone who actually studies law.

yep. he usually takes a day or so to reply, which I'm fine with I know folks are busy. I let him know last night that I didn't want to keep holding it and he needs to make a decision. so waiting on that now.

 

you're real worried about it lol.
