huh those look different for sure

 

I mean at least the inboard boots arnt being pinched

On my 4 runner with a custom lift the I board joint was binding at full droop till I further modified it I wonder if it's a cv at both ends instead of a trunion type deal on he inboard joint

 

Now that'll be a build thread worth subbing to!

I'm sure it'll be drivable before @Empty_Lord finishes his truck

 

Does that Instagram truck have a big lift on it then? Cause it sure looks like it's running bing to me

 

That's what I was thinking...unless it's jacked up in this pic, hopefully it is otherwise that's gonna rub apart in no time lol

 

You ever seen stock CV angles? Yeah that truck has a lift

 

I came down from around 2 foot high onto a granite boulder and bent the fuck out of mine. Feels good

 

My buddies 4 runner had the inner boot rubbing %100 of the time and it's lasted since before he bought the truck, is his daily

I was really hoping you could test them for us

 

That is weird, but anyway I wouldn't want that kind of an angle on the CV at ride height. I've never had an issue with the outer boots rubbing like that anyhow, it's always the inners.

 

Test them for us?

 

Maybe next time, got my OEM reman on one side so that one better last. Still want to find another reman for the other side but apparently they are discontinued and out of stock most places.

I would agree but definantly wouldn't give a tank to everyone who has honorably left the armed forces

Most probably wouldn't do anything other than "hey neighbor" while washing it
