I went the Maxpedition Rollypoly route for mine, but I followed someone else's idea on here, which was to attach a little loop of 550 cord to the bolt, with a piece of vinyl tubing on it to give it shape.

On my truck, the 550 cord fit in there without having to cut the console at all.

Smart alternative for a water bottle that size! I found the bag, but how did you mount yours?

Edit: NVM I kept reading and found the link to the original thread! Genius idea

This is how I mounted mine... I cut the strap loops and used a lighter to melt the ends, then used an existing screw (and an additional washer) underneath the center console on one strap, and stapled the other.

Very original, not my cup of tea personally, but the install looks really sharp.

Cool. It will definitely fit there, I've seen others on here do it. I considered putting my FTM-100 there, but personally, I found it awkward to get to the controls, and definitely too difficult to see the display from my position in the truck, so I went a different route. Everyone sits differently, and at different heights, so perhaps it will work for you.

no real purpose other than aesthetics as far as I know. I’m not a fan of engine covers so I generally remove them

Added the Prinsu and 42” caliraised light bar a few days ago, and the ditch lights two days prior to that.

it’s coming along well, but I feel like I’m not where I’d like it to be still. I’d like to get some wheels and have a little more of an aggressive stance without losing functionality. Planning a trip to central Colorado probably this early fall.

You only show up to a gig without a mouthpiece once before you start leaving one in the console...

This is a 20.5' trailer that is 4400 dry. I wanted something <5K dry. I have not done cross country drives with it. Country highways at 60mph down narrow roads and even double semis coming at me didn't blow me around with the weight-distrubution/sway control hitch in place. The thermostat never budged above normal operating temps. I always use ETC when towing to minimize shifting.
