oh yeah. that's a good point. C-trail and that area and Moab would just be a sufferfest. but i'm sure we'll organize a WE or some other ride this fall.

Sounds a lot like the linkage update orbea released for the rallon. I've been extremely happy with the improvements that new linkage made to my bike. Obviously the decision to upgrade was made easier since it was built by orbea themselves.

This gives more travel and significantly increases the leverage ratio, which is not better or worse, but just different. The linear feel of the Yeti platform is what gives it a lot of the positive characteristics that it has. If I were to use this I would def want to run a linear spring vs the progressive spring I currently run.

It sounds similar to Trek’s old DRCV shocks. Increasing the air volume at a certain point in the travel to keep it more linear. It makes sense but probably not worth it. Plus drcv shocks were annoying to set, maybe this thing will be better though.

You bring your multitool? Drop those bars down midride and see how you like the change.

On my rocky mountain altitude, I had to adjust my seat angle when I screwed with the suspension. Not immediately noticeable but your taint will feel the difference if its not angled correctly.

Thought about that, I'm pretty good friends with my LBS guys, see them on the trail regularly etc. I'd have to keep it in my pack.
