Has anyone here removed and replaced stock decals to refresh the look of your truck? Specifically the 4x4 decals on the truck bed gunnels and the pin strip down the sides? are these under the gel coat?

Lots of members have completely removed their bedside decals and/or replaced them. Most order custom-made decals, which if you go this route I’d recommend hitting up @CBoy808

What pinstripes are you referring to?

Pinstripes might be a dealer added option, I don't think that was a factory option.

I replaced my TRD Off Road decal because it was removed by the previous owner. I did a wet application, and it came with a template to line it up properly.

There's a ton of threads with info on sticker removal in here. I believe there's even info in the thread that I linked on removal. Lots of people use just a hair dryer or park it in the sun and just start picking at it with your fingernail. WD-40 has been recommended for removal and Goo-Gone Citrus works well.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING Goof-Off or you'll screw up your paint.
