    From what I've tested yes.

However if you're planning to run more boost it would be in your best interest to upgrade the pump. No guarantee the stock pump will last long term with the additional flow requirement

    Especially with powermax.

@OVTune just out of random curiosity - are you planning to integrate some of these fuel/injector upgrades as part of your Magnuson tune to optimize their system?

So hopefully nobody gets mad..but we will no longer be offering tunes for the upcoming SCs.

We are focused on our forced induction kit only.

We *may* do something in the future, but nothing is planned.

They are the same ones we tested. They are just a bit cheaper now so it's actually easier to order them directly.

@OVTune which turbo kit do you recommend for heavy vehicles/towing?

Option B and DI’s ordered. Thanks Mat.

When would recommend upgrading the PI’s?

Both versions perform nearly the same, until you start pushing higher boost.

If I wanted more power, torque, response, and *dont* plan on going for 400+ HP, then the base kit is perfect.

    This is a great question.
I do not recommend upgrading the PIs unless you plan on going E85.

    A few reasons.
    1. The boost levels required to make changing out the PIs necessary is unsafe for pump gas (so you need more octane)
    2. This ECU does not have very good low pulse width modulation on the PIs at idle, so if you run huge PIs at idle on pump gas the truck runs stupid rich.

With upgraded DI + upgraded in tank pump you can do 15psi on the powermax all day no problem and even go stupid rich since there is still more fuel window available.

When you start going into the 20s on boost, the DI system is taxed.
But 20s on pump gas is grenade anyway.

Short answer: unless you're trying to go for crazy quarter mile times, or just "need" 550+ ft lbs, don't worry about the PI.

There isn't an exact turn around. The plan was to ship it with your TT kit, so timeline depends on which downpipe, and intercool vs non version.

I do expect to have all kits shipped by the end of the month, because the catted DPs will be here around the 20th,

Let me add I highly recommend you guys DO NOT send me the one from your truck. Buy a used one. It's an irreversible conversion.

The fuel pump thing is still only for people running anything above the base kit 6.5psi right? No need to order anything for those of us basics who only wanted the base kit with no add-ons?

No, there is a step between there.

Base kit @ 6.5psi, no fuel upgrade
Base kit @ up to 14psi, injector upgrade
Base kit @ over 14psi, injector and pump upgrade

Although Matt did just clarify that a pump upgrade would not be a BAD idea at higher boost levels on the base kit.

So safe limit for PowerMaxes on 91+ octane with DIs and upgraded FP is 15 psi, how much timing is it taking on top end? 450whp/450wtq on 15 or is that stretching it?

Fuel pump could also be for those on the fuel pump recall list that don’t want to wait on Toyota, that’s why I’m getting one.

Is the high boost gonna be useable from a dead stop full throttle launch...Or will the traction control close the throttle making the truck no fun to drive?

Just out of curiosity what changed with tuning the Magnusson S/C, Just can't devote the time right now? Are you running one of their setups at all still? I only ask because I'm curious and I haven't seen anything with the Mag S/C since the pic you posted. Not trying to derail the tread or anything. Just had really high hopes for you to offer a tune for their setup. Any info is super appreciated bud! Thank you.
