Trees coming down! Looks so naked without them, but when they're dropping limbs so big I can't drag them outta the way - it's time.

Stay safe out there today.

I don't have a garage but I improvised for the storm to keep the truck safe. Now that I know it fits down here, I think I want to use this as my work area to do the lift. Clear out the crap on the sides and theres plenty of room. And its right next to my basement door where my tools are. Easy to run an extension cord for lights if it gets dark.

 

That was the first notice, a little premature I think. Ive gotten several more since.

Good morning - this is my Monday today, short week for me. I took yesterday off to clean up the house and yard after we held a surprise 60th birthday for my father-in-law here. Social distanced with tents and tables spread out, good thing we had tents because it downpoured on Sunday 1:30-3:30/4 here. Party started at 2 but no one left and everyone weathered the storm.

 

Everything in the yard is ratchet strapped to the deck.
I'm really concerned about the trampoline but its strapped by 3 1200 lb straps. Lawn chairs included.

Just an up date.

House for sale listed on March 6th.

Wait 3 months because of the virus.

Showing started last week of June.

After 4 weeks offer made and accepted. All cash deal.

Got my price.

Closing August 17th.

Now i know why i don't want to be a landloard.
No joy taking care of 2 houses .
Now just cut the grass for 2 more weeks and I'm done.

No damage except for the broken gutter it looks like.

Still no power, no internet, and no Direct TV for a while.

 

No power here either. Plenty of trees down all over. Generator to the rescue. TV, WiFi, cold refrigerator...

I might need to do the same... And either go with no TV, stream Direct TV, or switch to cable.

 

Went the Comcast direction for the better Net speed. What do your DTV boxes look like..I was told I don't have to return mine

 

Not sure I remember to be honest. Not home right now. Spending the night at the in laws since they have power, and are in Portugal.
