Yep, nothing wrong with that. We have a mid size SUV for hauling people, every situation is different and if you go by popularity most folks want the dbl cab. A bunch of them would probably be better off with a Forerunner or whatever. I said this once before and someone replied they wouldn't want to haul their deer carcass in the back of a forerunner, that made sense as well.

Plus double cabs are cheaper than the comparable 4Runner.... :anonymous:

The access cab is the short bus of Tacoma’s.

RCI, whichever the Steeper angle is (20 I believe) and I tell ya, this truck gets wheeled and those sliders are rock solid. Also have their skids and rear bumper. Saved my bacon a number of times.

Sticker: after a year and a half of living outside, I took the stickers off. Little bit of cleaning with goo be gone and my favorite rag and voila, no paint difference.

Just installed the OEM rack and put in a swing case in the back under the tri-fold cover. Two car seats in the truck make the storage a pain to get to.

Right now it is for navigating the boat in a tight parking spot between the house and fence but could definitely see rodholders/cooler rack in the future :D

What irks me is how long reverse is in the MT, backing a boat up a very minimal incline with grass and you could smell the clutch. I ended up getting the front hitch and paved the side yard so I didn't burn the clutch up. My previous 2nd gen also had trouble under these circumstances.

How's the spacing with the car seats?

2lo mod. Saves lives. Search it in the TW forum search and you'll be glad you did (I'd link but I'm on my phone, sorry)

The passenger side is a little tight as that is where the 8 month old sits and with it being rear facing limits how far the front seat can go back. On the driver side, my 5 year old is in a booster so there is plenty of space for him, backpack, etc. I have been looking at the 2lo mod...still need to put in my front camera for the hitch first.

Good to know on the seats. I'm only 5'7" so if/when the need arises, I'll be set. (To upgrade)
