What locker do you have in the rear? I ran down a rabbit hole today and started looking.

 

A locker is a game changer off-road.

Fo' sho'. I'm just not sure what will and won't fit. Some sites say I can use the same one as the 2nd gens and some say you can't. It's all so cray cray.

 

You have an automatic sport so I *think* you have the same diff as I do. It’s all the MT and the e lockers that have the beefier diff.

 

You could be right. I'm gonna do some more research and see what I find.

 

According to ecgs these are some of the locker options for you. Spartan/lock right/grizzly would be comparable to what I have.

Even more for my front diff at $1350. That’s why I went with the arb air + powertank actuator. Saved $400 going that route.

Yeah they’re spendy compared to arb which is why people go that route, typically.

 

I think I'm narrowed to the Harrop or ARB. The mechanicals don't seem to be a good choice for a daily.

 

Ask @FadedComa because he put the same locker as mine in his daily. The main benefit is you can do it yourself and don’t need to mess with backlash or preload or anything. You get a selectable, you’re going to want a pro doing it.

 

I'm seeing these things.

 

Daily all day, you can't tell a difference honestly. Once you get used to it that is....

Feather it on dead stop right hand turns, it will chirp the tires if you gas it. Get a little spin in the rain, so it's basically learning throttle control.

 

I wish, that would be awesome.. Rolling coal and smoking dual rear wheels.

 

harrop gets some shade because if you roll backwards it will “unlock” and you need to spin the wheel forward again before it “locks” again. Strange design, not sure id want it in the front. I already hate the factory e locker
