Yeah I think the safest bet is to call them and verify the latest restrictions. The info I posted was copy/pasted from another source... presumably the forest service website but I think calling them is the best idea

Single cab 2nd gens are sex, if I could afford to build a dedicated trail rig I'd get me one of those

sorry I didn’t introduce myself as wanting to gently caress your trucks underbody...

but regardless yeah! I dig it!!! Wanted to see it on the trail...maybe next time. Oh and I also got a spare OEM oil filter I’ll give you from my 07 regular cab that I sold awhile back. It just sits in my cabinet so sad and lonely.

I miss my 2nd regular cab 5 speed manual 4x2 . Roll up windows and all....

Speaking of being on jack stands...

Changed my oil and pulled my front skid plate to find what I had already suspected. Front diff puked gear oil everywhere most likely from the front locker. I picked up an extra qt. to top it off tomorrow and test for the leak. I smelled it every time I tried using the front locker. Good thing I didn’t really need it, but a shame in its inaugural use. Gotta get that fixed.

Yeah it is, weird it’s leaking though. Usually the front ones are pretty stout. I wanna make sure it is the locker, because I noticed some fluid by the passenger side axle seal as well.

    Guess it’s time to SAS

Solid axle 2nd gens are so awesome. If I wasn't planning on LT, I'd try to pony up lol, but the fab work is daunting.

Topped the diff off with fluid and tested the front locker several times. Couldn't get any fluid to come out. My guess is I actually have to be moving or under articulation. While stationary it was only losing pressure slowly, so still gotta dig into the issue.
