    A month ago I almost destroyed my truck from wyman canyon into dead horse
    Turned around and survived
    Last week went in from crooked creek
    Doable but took a friend to make sure we got out
    One butt pucker spot on the way down and up
    Not any real traffic in dead horse
    No evidence of anyone staying there except in the fall to hunt
    The sage hens rule dead horse meadow

    have read blogpost of driver not going up from Wyman in august 2014 due to washed-outs, he'd mentioned talking to a pole-line crew forman who indicated big road damage in 2012.
    maybe it's getting more doable?. i have not seen that section.

    My rigs dual cased, F/R locked on 35's. I have a lot of years behind the wheel off-road.

    The section I posted up thread is the easy section of the lower road. After that it get's severely rutted out parallel to the road. It's too wide to straddle so you have to lay your rig into the washout. It's the hardest section of wheeling in the Bishop area. Way harder then Wheeler Ridge.

    It's doable for a well built wheeling rig. Your typical "overland" rig is gonna have some issues.
