That is great. What was the issue?

You're going to love this, after the first few miles.

Remember to squirrel away the OVT data, esp the REG file.

The prob is without doubt my ignorance. I never denied that.
Even after the tune download, I couldn't "install" it cuz the laptop wouldn't "read" it.
So, my Buddy knowing where I was falling short helped out.
And you, Tonered, your help was appreciated beyond words. Thank you. Look me up in western Colorado if your ever here and drinks are on me.

Ignorance is not a bad thing if you know it. We're all there until we're not.

You are very welcome! Sorry for the pouring on the pressure, but 2.0 is sooo damn good. You are going to love it on those little hills (mounds!) that you guys have.

Well there you go. Just remember that it takes awhile for the tune to settle in so might have some little quirks for a tank or 2. But you should notice some real improvement almost right away tho. :hattip:

31000 miles before this tune. I already notice a less hurky jerky shift. The fueling appears improved. Waitimg to find more pluses as the miles come on

LOL..... it was me who brought this back to life. : )

I just got 2.0 installed on my 2017 auto and it has changed my entire experience of driving for me. On my windows 10 computer with anti virus protection I did have to disable and jump through some hoops for sure!

I’m super happy you got some help and got it installed! Things may be frustrating but not impossible and we can see several people on here are here to help! Especially @tonered who has helped me a lot and not even known it.... just by reading through his posts.

Appreciate the teamwork on this thread. I'm a mac guy and have no PC. Can I do the tune with a Microsoft surface pro or do I need a 'real' pc laptop?

Good point. The Surface go 2 has only USB-C and Home-S OS. Can I make that work with a USB adapter? Appreciate the help.

I am using a Surface with a single USB 3.0 port. Flashes like a champ.
