I like the look of yellow fog lights in general but I'm undecided on adding them to my truck. I wouldn't just do the yellow light but also add some yellow tint. If you do have them, what part # did you use? Thanks guys.

    YES!!
I think yellow fogs make our trucks look sexy. I have yellow Lamin-X on my fogs and it looks awesome.

i like the look of yellow fog lights alot too. but IMO, they just look out of place on our trucks. many people here have them, i think it looks fucking stupid. this is why im going with clear lenses on mine.

I went with Yellow lamin-x and yellow bulbs. makes them light up super yellow and looks awesome in my opinion.

I got the pre cut lamin-x here: http://www.lamin-x.com/Toyota-Tacoma-05-Fog-Light-Covers-p/t112.htm
and the bulbs are Nokya H10. If you do a google search for the bulbs you will find a number of different vendors that have them for around $20.

I installed the bulbs, but want the yellow film too so they always look yellow. Maybe on "some" Taco colors the yellow might not look so great, but to each his/her own.

SpaceMonkey the Toyota lettering on your grill looks super tight. The black on black is exactly what I want to do to mine. Could you tell me where to get the curved lettering you used? Really appreciate it.

SpaceMonkey are you running HID's? Wondering if the HID's cause any problems with the lamin-x film, like making it too hot or something.

the LaminX is garbage imho. . .
They will Fade & Burn into the Oem Clear Lens in due time.

I suggest you do the Krylon Glass Tint Spray (3-4 Light Coats)

    or

Ebay Yellow Lens Fogs (Great Quality)

Thanks! The grill is just your standard recessed mod. The letters were purchased online as was the mesh. The mesh came powder coated. Highly recommend that over painting it. I did paint the letters flat black.

Sorry for the late replies guys.

That was my concern too so I'm just going to run 3K HID fog lights.

Could you post a couple pics of your fogs on and off? I plan on ordering the Nokya yellows and I want to see them w/out a yellow cover.
