Question 1: Think they’ll be able to pull it out?
Question 2: If not, is this panel replaceable and how much do you think it would cost?

I vote save your money and live with the scar

Especially since it's on the passenger side.

Not difficult to replace, but it will take a while, and time = $$$.

That would actually be fairly easy to repair for any decent repair shop. Cost should be around 500 on the high side. Where are you located?

Your sliders let you down. :D

Not a difficult fix, but unless you have ocd, I would clean it up and get a can of color matched spray and call it a day. Use the money for sliders. I would cut and weld. Pulling that out as bad as it is gouged will result in a lot of filler.

I was thinking sliders may cover up a portion of it anyways.

Paint it so it doesn’t rust and buy some sliders. Case closed.

And fix the bed . A detrim of the door for blend . The bed has to come off or at least set back for the cab corner refinish . The bed would need a new chip film and new decals if it is trd. Bumper has to be removed along with the taillight. Flare has rash . I would either fix it right or put some touch up paint on it and :mudding:

Pulling it out is dicey, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

They wont pull that dent, chances are they will push it out. Because that panel is pretty strong compared to most dent repair panels the stud gun wont stick strong enough, they will want to remove the rear seat, and the C pillar trim. From there they can put a block of wood against the dented part and hammer it out.

But since it is on a hard body line chances are it will turn out better to cut it out and put on a new panel. As for the cost, it would depend on what way they went... pounding it out, filling and sanding would be cheaper, but would produce the worst results.

If it were me, I would wire brush the flaking paint off, scuff it and spray it with some factory color matched paint. Leave the dent as its pretty small, but pretty bad.

Maybe have to relief cut that area , slide hammer and stitch back up then mud work , prep and refinish it. Time is money. Good shop can fix it. Will cost some cash. Painter here by the way.

Had a similar scar on my second gen, pretty sure the body shop had to cut that section out and replace. Wasn’t cheap, get it fixed and invest in some sliders!
