I thought about that for mine but I did a trial run when I first got it and pulled the plug after it had been running on high for a while. The flame died out pretty quick and no smoke got into the house. That was good enough for me. In theory if the doors, combustion blower, and exhaust are sealed well it should be okay.

I noticed what it does is senses the power has an "issue" when it's on battery. The blower motor of course has what I guess is a precise tuning that knows at xxx setting they mass flow of air should be yy cubic meters/sec...IF at that setting the air flow is off it goes into a "Flow error" auto shutdown. I noticed that when it's on battery the slight variance in voltage causes the system to think the blower fan is malfunctioning and it puts the stove in shutdown...The blower goes to 100% and stops the pellets from dropping into the pot. It stays like this until the unit registers no more heat and no more smoke and then it's shutdown...It's a GREAT stove..LOVE IT!!! Ravelli RV100 Classic in black

I bought some Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover, and it works really well on stubborn stuff (I mostly used it on tar and tree sap). It is also reasonably priced at WallyWorld.

According to some the 600 has more positive reviews than the 700. I saw they have an 800 as well

just use simple green or another all purpose after. Or a car wash or something. Don’t want to leave that stuff on your paint. I might do my front end soon I just did a road trip but likely taking it to Maine this weekend so might wait until after.

Use butter, them just clean off the butter. The butter breaks down the sap pretty easily.

Late to the party, but when I checked out the Pilot / Passport / Ridgeline at the Auto Show the dead pedal was a dealbreaker. I was considering getting rid of the Jeep for a Passport when they were first announced since the whole "Honda reliability vs Jeep reliability thing", although Honda quality has fallen since the early 1990s when my old Accord was a tank and my friend's Civic took all the abuse we could throw at it until the timing belt snapped. The placement of the dead pedal ruined the truck for me.

Hand sanitizer. Of course, it's in short supply, but that's what my friend used when he had all the pine trees in his yard when he first moved into his house.

I can't get excited about a full size, I'd never need one. The only fullsize trucks that interest me are the 73-80 Chevy / GMC K10 short beds and then the 77-79 Ford Highboys. They'd be incredibly wasteful for me to own. To be frank, I'd have to change my name, but I honestly don't use my truck as a truck probably 75% of the time I have it. I just dig it.

The only thing I see replacing mine for the next 15 or so years is potentially the last year they put a manual in these trucks, just to have the latest and greatest. I don't know if I'd even change the specs, maybe I'd get a Pro so I wouldn't have to touch the suspension, but I'd transfer over the wheels, the light bars, the roll bar, etc. It would effectively be the same truck, and that seems oddly wasteful.

My truck is extremely close to being done, which is scary. I've never gotten this close to completing a project vehicle.

Same, my needs don't currently warrant a full size nor do I need the room inside or out in the near future. I did have a F150 rental last year while getting my CRC and it was decent but I did see the needle drop fast.

And that's bull..you're never really done with a vehicle.

Oh, I agree 100%, I try and only use it when I am washing a vehicle.

The 800 is a monster and is the "hot thing" on the lawnsite forum for blowers.

Depends on how big of stuff and heavy a cleanup you are doing. If you do big clean ups or have a lot of leaves, go big. If you are just regular joe homeowner with a few trees, you could probably save a few hundred and get a model similar to your old one.

I use their larger battery powered one and it does like 99% of what I would want.

I have 2 residential properties and 1 commercial office building with a good size parking lot that I maintain. And the friends and family that call when the leaves start falling.
