I guess what you can do is source the harness that convert non-LEDDRL to LEDDRL, then connect that to harness to the LED Headlight conversion harness.
Going to be a jungle of wires though.

Edit: Found this. SR/SR5 DRL Upgrade harness kit.

I don’t want to start a new thread for my question so I’ll ask here, I’m sure someone might know.
If I were to add a a switchback, sequential led strip to the top outside of my headlights, and tap them to the DRL/turn signal wires, would I need to add a low amp inline fuse for them? I can’t really see why I’d need to add 4 inline fuses, but what do you all think?
I’m not say I’m 100% doing this, just toying with the idea. Would also use a better quality light.

Dude you have such a sick truck. Why would you ever want to add a mod like that. Your ride deserves better. Go with the morimoto units on sale right now and Carid give an additional 5 % off

Thanks and that is the goal at some point. Just would rather the money go towards other purchases before headlight. I was mainly interested to see how it would look, either too cheesy or decent till I can get a real upgrade. The Morimoto lights do look great and if I didn’t want wheels/tires and gears it would be next.

I get it. Tires and wheels are a must. I did those before the lights. As far as the connectivity of the MOD I cant imagine its gonna require all those additional fuses

I was thinking that fuses for those would have been a little much. At least using the wire taps, it’ll be easy to take off it I go through with it and it looks too gaudy.

Does anyone have feedback on the Morimoto (TRS) connector vs what mike is building? Waiting to hear back on lead time for both.

Should be the about the same. I recall hearing that Mike also makes the same harness for the Tundra's LED headlights.

Mike said by this or next week, he will be able to start making harnesses again.

how was your experience with them. First time I see them mention in this post, but I was debating on getting my headlights from them since they have the best pricing so far.

It was bullshit. Was a supper good deal and best price anywhere but, after 15 days they called me on a Saturday asking for $200 more due to shipping logistics being more than they expected. cancelled the order of course.
Went to OEM part source got them for $1370 shipped and supper helpful. Ordered on The next Monday and got them that Thursday. Also ordered several other things from oem part source, really good prices and gotten all of my parts in the same week I order.
Not trying to bash discount place, maybe it was a fluke with everything going on, just with my experience not going back.

Edit. Oempartsourse has 10% off shipping with 10OFF

Thanks for the reply. Definitely seemed like too good of a deal to me. And after reading thru 58 pages of this thread and only seeing that name come up once I knew it was probably too good to be true.

I was wondering, for the Molex connector, would they be sold under Toyota? Or the connector an OEM use aftermarket part?
Cause other than online sources, I cannot source this connector locally...

Go back to page 51. It’s a main connector for Harley Bikes any Harley Davidson dealers carry them, I should have the part number on page 51. Don’t forget to ask them for the pins to.

I literally came from a Harley Davidson dealer asking for the part. I guess I gave them the wrong part number, and they had nothing in stock.
