What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

Yes I purchased last month. I went to a few dealerships and they all told me they had no inventory and we're getting bought same day or a few days later.

Had to pull trigger because me and my lady have been sharing a car for a few month so I said screw it.

 

I paid 29,232.95 before tax.

At this point I would consider <$40k OTD as a win lol

 

I ended up OTD with a 2020 TRD OR Short Bed, Base Model + Blackout package, for around 38k total.

Spoke with a few dealers in ma,
people keep paying full MSRP, so they're not giving anything outside of factory discount.

Say 2021's at earliest will be mid October.

 

In the MI/OH/KY/TN region: $1k cash, 1.9% 60 mo. 3.9% 72 mo.

 

Dealer quoted me for a Cement 2020 Off-Road DC/SB With Premium OR package and LED Headlights (has other smaller addons like blackout package, carpet mats and stuff Which I'll negotiate off).

How do we think this'll stack up to the 2021's? Am I better off waiting? $45.7k OTD gives me pause.

 

That's not bad. Not great but not bad. If this also includes the Advanced Tech Package, the best I could do in Az was $43,XXX + TTL roughly $48,XXX. That was with the Costco Auto Program too.

 

$45.7k OTD seems HIGH to me, and that's coming CA. I paid $38.3k. See my post #5169 for reference.
That said, I've only seen prices on the rise since my purchase in Feb. Good Luck!

 

Isn’t premium off-road package a $4000 package with leather and everything? If so, I’d say it sounds like you’re doing pretty good

 

good luck having them come down right now. There are so few TRD Off roads right now. This is a terrible time to buy a Tacoma, wait until 2021's come out and save 3-4 K

Not to mention look at what you are really paying for and ask if its worth that kind of value to you. We think differently about this I think but if you're totally okay with the cost of those aminities then I think you're good. I also only paid 29, but thats more about doing what I want to do on the build.

 

Yeah it is, I think it's closer to $5k, but definitely a big chunk on top of the stock standard OffRoads I see some people getting for $38k.

I wanna pull the trigger but I'm just hesitant if a 2021 would be similarly priced in a few months.

 

Like mine which was $38,085. Cheapest MSRP you can get for a DCSB 4 x 4 TRDOR auto.

is anyone having an issue specing out a 2020 with LED headlights? Dealer says they wont do it with out tech or prem. One I finally said ok ill add tech, and he came back and said sorry need to have Premium package... lol

 

Waiting until 8/17 when my 2020 DC Longbed comes through the port to Sandy Eggo, CA. Price plus tax thru my Credit Union/Autoland. No adds or deducts this truck was coming to America already take it or leave it.
