Hopefully this is a good spot for this question... Would 265/75/16 be a good fit on 16x8 0 offset, and would that setup rub on stock? Also would it be advised to go with E load rating if I'm adding a Diamondback SE cover and rock siders? Not sure if i want to lift or add armor at this point. Just trying to make it more offroad worthy but still ride nice on the daily.

Some people have had to remove mudflaps with this setup because of minor rubbing. But, general consensus is you should be ok. There is a little variance in the height of the "same sized" tires which may contribute to different experiences for people. Many people run E loads. Probably not as smooth for a daily driver, but certainly gives some more protection off road. Maybe comes down to personal preference on what you accept for ride quality.

With the 16x8 0 offset on stock height you will rub a little running 265/75/16 tires. I'm on 2020 TRD Pro wheels and 265/75/16 and I get a small rub on occasion going in and out of a driveway at full turn. Nothing at all during normal driving. No need for E rated tires, save your money and gas mileage.

    Duratracs, I like em!

The only rubbing for me, is when I think about them in the shower.

Does it rub on the mudflap or wheel well. Im jist waiting for the same spec wheels but will be adding a .75” spacer thats gives a 1.5” lift.

I’m looking at running those same tires. What air pressure are you using front and rear?

Sorry late reply.. I run them at 33/34.. heat up to 37.. they feel better & wear evenly at that PSI ... best decision to go w the E rated over the P metric

Goodyear Duratracs 265/75/16 C Load. So far so good. A bit of a hum at lower speeds nothing that is to bothersome (Its a truck after all).
No rubbing, stock suspension for now, but not for long.

Me too! Drove out past Crystal Mill to Lead King Basin this weekend, and the Ultraterrains performed like champs! Big sharp rocks, wet slick rocks, a little mud, and gravel; I was really happy with them. It ended up raining/snowing, and I was worried about their traction on the way out, but zero issues. Depending on their long-term durability, these may be the best all around tire for me. 265/75/16 SL, stock suspension.

I see a lot of smack talk (but not much actual evidence) about problems with Duratrac and Ultraterrain sidewalls, but I had zero problems during the 45,000 miles that I had C-load Duratracs driving around trails in CO and UT. Hopefully the Ultraterrains hold up as well as the Duratracs did.IMG_20200828_182633.jpg IMG_20200822_185557.jpg IMG_20200822_185530.jpg

100k on a set of tires and still good tread left huh? Wow. That’s insane. I’ve never even got close to that type of mileage for any tire and I’ve had them all (MT/AT/HT etc) May have to consider these in the future. Glad I found this post. Take care.
