I personally chose the ARE V series due to the low base price and all of the options that I wanted to add. Sliding windoors and OTR paint option (Spray on lining). Perfect for camping and really durable if taken care of. Chose black since I was initially concerned that they would have a tough time matching the paint. Turned out perfect for me.IMG_8941.jpg

Nice job. Looks really sharp. Love the spray on lining of the top. Works really well. Question for you on the bed extender, if you don't mind. Looks like the one from AMP -- what made you choose that one over the Toyota? Was it black versus silver?

Had a Leer hard sell on my 2018, put a soft topper on my 2020. I prefer the soft topper. Truck is more useful beaing able to easily fold the topper down to open the bed. Be truthful with yourself how you plan to use the truck.

have one on white. Selling it. But it looks good I just don’t need it. Goal was to sleep back there but it was a tad bit too hot to do that in Texas. So I burned gas and slept in the cab running so the AC was on.

easy install. Just as water tight as anything else, maybe not with a pressure washer or car wash but for normal driving and weather, just as good. If you want a topper, highly recommend checking used either on here or on Facebook (found mine on FB). A used soft topper is around 500 if not a bit less. Can fold up and super easy to remove alone and way easier to fold up to store than a fiberglass one if it’s not on the truck. And, it can easily fold up on the truck too. I’m a fan, I just don’t have a use for it other than sleeping in, so. Chucking it.
