Haha hear ya there! I have zero experience with swapping UCAs or remote reservoirs but I swapped my front coilovers, ECGS bushing & rear AALs/shocks. Probably a safe assumption but assuming you're going to be gaining ride height w/ these parts? Have you thought about replacing the needle bearing while you're in there?

I have, thinking I may order the bushing/seal today, and just do it while I am in there. just hoping someone has the removal/install tool. think there are a few that have it and just ask to ship it to the next one in need. I dont see the need to buy $90 in one time use tools.... unless you do this for a living... I have also thought about a diff drop, but I prefer to avoid this (have heard of other issues associated with a diff drop) and if it does become an issue I will take care of it when I go for my 5.29 gears...

After doing my UCAs the one tip I wish I had known, was I saw a show grind part of the flange of the UCA bolt and that allowed it to pass easier past the fender.

YES, and plenty of vids show them bending the crap out of the inner fender with channel-lock pliers to get the bolt out too.. have to see what my options are. but grinding the bolt, and maybe some paint/scrubbing with a wire brush/wire wheel, w rust reformer/converter.

Bending the fender isn't that bad.

I meant the rust reformer/paint for the frame, LCA, maybe some fluid film.

From many folks on here (myself included) do the bushing at the same time & hassle of doing things twice. At the risk of overstepping, @Jc4x4 loaned me his removal tool.

Personally, I initially gained 2.5" & did not need a diff drop. Those are pretty easy to install if needed.

Other tools that are handy to have: (most are available as "loaner tools" from Autozone/Advanced/O'Reilly's)
    Torque wrench
Breaker bar (helpful but necessarily required)
    Bearing race kit
    35mm socket (axle nut)
19mm socket (lower ball joint bolts)
Bearing puller & slide hammer (if you replace the seal)

    Where are you?

Thomaston Maine, I have a toolbox (just paid it off last month):

    23130488_10155115877977794_2150759528351205587_n.jpg

minus the shop, and the workbench next to it... and the computer in the hutch...

I have a puller set or two, just no race kit/drivers or slide hammer (yet) have all the sockets, although may need a 35, I know I have 36mm ones.. and both a clicker style, and electronic gearwrench TQ wrench..

toolbox is at my parents house which is about 1/2 mile from mine... I dont have a garage, they do, and they have a paved driveway.

as soon as tacoma is finnished, I am looking to build a 28'x32' garage with at least 10ft ceiling.

I doubt the rears will show up by then... just anxious... I feel disappointed with $3200 worth or suspension just sitting in my basement/living room.

the toolset has been kinda scattered as I have done repairs at my house, and snagged tools.. cant wait to have a garage, and my toolbox available for actual use again.. its just stuck in a corner of my parents overstuffed garage...

Haha know the feeling. I'd lined up help doing my ECGS but was several weeks down the road. Got impatient & put the coils w/o replacing the bearing. Drove 2mi and immediately knew that was a mistake. Two days later I went back in & put the bushing in.

should I just order the removal, and install tools? its $80 for the bushing, and seal only... $170 gets the bushing &seal as well as the removal tool, and the install tool.

as far as I am concerned I wont be doing this install until September when everything is here. not really worth it to install half of the suspension, then wait a month, and do the rear... also gives me the opportunity to order up the skidplates from RCI (pending research that they play well with my Mobtown Offroad HD bolt on sliders) and install these as well, then i can test, and tune the suspension for a finnish rig weight. really need to find a scale to weigh this afterwards. I can only assume my truck has gained over 800lbs, possibly 1400lbs with passengers and gear... payload be damned.. lol...
