    1. Thou shall rub thy meat. I'm trying to build a business around this one, so I agree :D.

    2. Thou shall not boil ribs. Dad still does this from time to time when he golfs, then wants ribs when he comes home. I never do, but they're passable.

    3. Thou shall not use Liquid Smoke. That should be true, not just from a "it's cheating" standpoint, but because it tastes bad.

    4. Thou shall not use lighter fluid. Chimney starters all the way! Or @Bigdaddy4760 's acetylene torch :rofl:

    5. Thou shall not cut meat open to inspect. Yeah, who does that? Besides, if it is to check the color of steak, it will be a false indicator. That real good dark pink of medium-rare takes a second to bloom after cutting.

    6. Thou shall not open another man's BBQ. Unless Maner explicitly gives you permission :D.

    7. Thou shall not bro mouth fellow pitmasters. Ummm...I don't know what that is, but it sounds Brokeback Mountain-ish.

    8. Thou shall not BBQ without a drink. A drink or 7. Bonus points if you let Maner pour the whiskey. :laugh:

    9. Thou shall not open the BBQ every 5 minutes. Sorry @Misplaced Nebraskan . :anonymous: ;) :rofl:

    10. Thou shall BBQ during rain, snow, sleet, or shine. This includes when it is 105* out and the heat index is at about the boiling point of water. Suck it up buttercup and roll that smoke!
