Yeah silly me, public forums give everyone a super valid reason to be rude towards others.

There are certain topics you talk about and joke with others, and certain you don’t. If you’ve ever thought I was genuinely rude to you, then I’m sorry.

but if you think telling someone anything about having kids, preparing to have kids, or anything related to the subject, without considering it offensive and rude...well then I guess that’s just on you. People take no consideration into if someone wants kids, if they can even have kids, or anything on the matter before running their mouths.

Was a real morning ruiner lol. She was eating them last night and stopped and told me to eat them. I said leave em for breakfast I’ll have em with milk. Only to find 3...

 

It’s fine if you agree, still doesn’t make it appropriate to tell someone how things are with kids when you don’t know their kid situation at all. What if Amy or I genetically can’t have kids? Telling me to stay away from my niece because Amy’s hormones will act up seem appropriate?

 

1st your not going to hurt my feelings.
2nd if the person or their husbands tells me they are having a baby I will congratulate them but I'm not going to pat you on the back for you saying someone is having a baby.

Also I guess I don't have the Scotty book on what can and can not be talked about. I don't think you ever stop to think some of the things you talk about may hurt or offend people? Even when you see they are upset you don't stop. So don't try to censor me when you do the same, just because you have an opinion or belief doesn't mean everyone feels the same way.

 

To be fair i didnt see any of that part of the convo till after i posted this. I will in know way talk about things like this on a public platform, sorry i didnt mean to step into like that. Like i said didnt read it all to after

nobody should have the same opinions on everything, not sure why you think I expect that. Again, I’ve apologized if I was genuinely rude to anyone. I’ve learned over the years you don’t get to decide if you offend someone or not, and if they let you know they’re offended, you should apologize and move on. Not try and defend your side and say they shouldn’t be offended because you don’t agree with it.

 

You’re good man. So is Jeff. It’s just a topic that bothers me, because I am fearful if I can’t have kids one day. It’s fine to make jokes (see Phil) but to make an offensive statement, be told it was inappropriate, and then only be defensive about your stance instead of apologizing? Sorry I disagree.

 

I only seen where Jeff said to be carefull cause girls holding babies makes them want one. I didnt read any further until after my post was made.

I just wanted to make sure you knew that bud. I wouldnt talk about things like that on a public anything. Now if we were texting or talking privatly it would be a different story.

 

I also think @stronghammer that Jeff is only trying to jostle your berries

it seems like a harmless comment, but to say avoid your niece, don’t let your fiancé hold her because she will want one, without any consideration to the subject and how it affects us at all is the issue I have.

 

Maybe so, and that says even more about the person he is if that’s true. If such a sensitive topic has bothered me, and I pointed that out, but he can’t apologize or do anything other than try and make me look bad for some reason, then I guess he doesn’t consider me a friend.

 

Exactly, The same way he does me. If it was a topic that truly hurt or offended you Scotty you should PM me or call me you have my number. Sorry if my words hurt you, I was just looking for a topic to debate today.
