I had mine go in for the CRC two weeks ago. Basically they'll use a form of non-hardening silicone at corrosion points within the C- channel up to the rear shackles, sections that Toyota has deemed "corrosion points" within the boxed area, install caps and new plugs.

 

I wonder if my bolt on rock sliders will block what they need to get to and they will want me to remove them first? That'll be a PITA.

 

This happened last week, when I had some difficulties getting an order from Putco.

EDIT: UPDATE: Prior to this post, I emailed Putco and gave a professional, negative impression of thier business and customer service. Since the OP, I have recieved three phone calls from two regional sales managers, an explanation of what happened, apologies, a future discount, a free hat and shirt (that will undoubtedly be too short). Oh, and my light. Expedited shipping. Guarenteed delivery Thursday. I'll let ya know how that turns out.

Update: Putco kept thier word. The light arrived yesterday afternoon as promised. Hoping for install before we head out today. If not, add it to the pile for next week.

I came across this the other day; a TW member has developed a wiring harness to allow 2LO operation and is working with a local supplier of his to sell them. Has anyone bought this or done this mod, and if so, any issues? I need one of these for pulling my boat out; currently I have to switch to 4LO because 2HI and the MT just smoke the clutch.

Sounds like it just disconnects the add actuator. Simple enough
