I did a couple of small mods today.

A/C Drain mod with the hose zip tied to cross member. I used a reducer I stumbled across at Home depot to mate the two hoses together and a couple of stainless steel hose clamps.

Also got rid of the big plastic license plate holder on the front, and went with a simple low profile mount and security pin screws to hold the plate on, Canadian Tire had a smoked bubble plate cover on sale for $8.99.

Wrestling with these front frame bushings....AGAIN. Swapped them out for the polyurethane ones 3years ago. Just started popping again this week.

All this BS about Socialized Medicine is political and doesn't belong here!
Unless of course I'm allowed without getting the boot to defend the US Constitution and my 2nd Amendment rights! Then I'm all in!

Anyone ever seen their core support break??
No accidents on this truck and it is flexing in this area a good bit. Not the same on passenger side

Got rid of the final bit of chrome possible (unfortunately can't do anything about the small amount in the headlight surround) and added some subtle trendy "sports car" flair to the truck (re: side mirrors)

Mirror turn signals are from Suma Performance since they seem to be the only ones in stock right now and then OEM black mirror caps.

Ya, that license plate holder is just ugly. I mounted my plate to this little bush bar.

Can you provide a wider angle pic so we can get a sense of where the failure is?

Hell yeah, one of my favorite hobbies before all my money went into buying a house and supporting a family was target shooting and playing airsoft. But after getting married and having kids, guns got to expensive so they got sold. They have since been replaced with bicycles and now it seems like the Tacoma is getting just as expensive as shooting was, it's like every week you find a little thing that you absolutely need to make your truck complete.
Next week for me is OV Tune and new wheels/tires but I swear that's it, I need to get back to focusing on saving up money for a new furnace for the biggest money pit, know as home ownership.

Some CaliraisedLED molle panels. Fits with my Lomax tonneau perfectly! Now I need an axe, shovel and recovery boards:thumbsup:
The 2020’s don’t come w/ the cubby on the left side of the bed to use all the install points. Maybe a stupid question but anyone know if I can drill there without any issues? What’s my cleanest mounting option? A wing nut or anchor of some type? Thanks in advance for any help:cool:

I like that. Couldn't stand that plastic thing on the bumper that you couldn't even use a step, pointless.

Unfortunately life has its priorities. Family 1st, home 2nd, Tacoma 3Rd and toys last. Later on in life all those toys we spent all our money on just end up being stuff. :notsure:

You should be OK but to be safe use a drill stop. You only need about a 1/4" to break through. A piece of electrical tape wrapped around the drill bit will work in a pinch.

Use a sharp drill and avoid using too much pressure for a clean hole or you'll end up with a bunch of loose fibers around the hole.

Also if you ever need to plug a hole there is a seller on ebay "dangoodbuy" that has hole plugs, end caps and other items to give your projects a finished look or to cover any hole you no longer need. Worth checking out.

I won’t lie though, I’m a little disappointed you didn’t tell me to use some rivet nuts to install:D

Yeah man, I feel your pain. I'm a shooter too, constantly having to buy powder, bullets, primers, match fee's. Just bought a Wiebad pump pillow and another taco bag. YIKES!:spending:

I didn't have the Tacoma a week and I found out about OVTune and went online that night and found someone selling a flash kit. Boom. There goes another $800 between flash kit and license. Clazzio covers coming, a full set of skid plates from https://www.okexpedition.ca/2016current-toyota-tacoma. Such a deal, saved $500 over buying new, so had to do that.

    I think I have Tacoma fever. o_O
