Look like the TRD Fauxlocks with the rash ring removed on the rear, but the F5s with big meats are likely the new joint

Took the trd wheels off and put SCS F5s and 285 tires. Putting the trds on the T4R I just picked up yesterday.

At tandem now, excited to get it aligned and back on the road. That is until I get some time to install the head kit I ordered for it.

Wasn’t the cheapest alignment at 3 hours but it drives amazing now! No vibration at all anymore and steering is super responsive. Just need to trim because I’m rubbing plastic.

Good to know... I may just do it for a little bit to get some extra money on hand.

Besides wanting to know more about this condom survey...

Where do you look for these things?

Next to the cash registers at gas stations, or at CVS/Walgreens, etc.

Sometimes in the bathrooms at bars.

There are a few companies that I'm signed up with (Curion, P&K Testing and DallasByDefinition), but they're all in DFW and you usually have to go to their location. They email or call about surveys that you can try to qualify for. You log on answer some questions and they tell you if you made it in. Sometime you might answer questions that disqualify you or the groups are already full. It's not enough to pay any bills, but to make $30-50 here and there, it's not too bad. Yesterday's survey was a blindfolded sniff test of 7 different condom samples. Basically, I had to open the package and smell it, remove it from the packaging and smell it, then smell my fingerso_O. Answer a few questions about each and I got $45 cash. Probably took about 20 mins total.

Well hell, I tested the 4x4 out when I test drove the 4runner and it was fine but I tested it again in my driveway and can’t get it out of 4low now. Hoping the actuator isn’t froze up

15 year old truck, probably just needs contacts cleaned and some grease. Is it electric 4wd or a jstick?

electric, it’s a common problem with the 4tg gen T4R. It sucks but I’m not too worried about it even if I need to replace it, I got it super cheap.

2nd gen tacos have the same issue. First I’d pull the actuator off the transfer case and check for corrosion water intrusion. Might just need a cleaning and new dielectric grease.

Cool, I’ll definitely look into it and try that out. This is all new to me so I’ll be in here asking questions.
