too bad he don’t know how the electric grid works other than the electric fence keeping him in his stall.

Maybe Hunter could go explain it to them. Is there an electricalgridworld.com he could post on?

A large tree across the street from my house was blown down Tuesday afternoon.

Fell right on the power lines and knocked down a utility pole.

Power lines on the ground and all the streets are barricaded.

No power restored until next Tuesday is the estimate.

    Lol...

    keeping jersey dirty
Same here, probably only time in my life we kept power and stupid high tax town over all lost theirs w/out getting it back before anyone else. Although Sparta seems to be the only place anyone is doing anything up here. A lot of the other towns by here there are traffic lights out all over, neighborhoods without power for days, but compared to usual there's hardly any cops, lineman, etc,.. from what i've seen. Somethin strange about it

Jcp&l are dragging their feet. Just got home from work. Still no power. They aren't even giving is an estimated time for when the power goes back on.

Says 8/11 @ 11:30PM for me. They just came and capped off wires from a downed street light on my st. I'm hoping that means they're getting ready to hit the switch. I have a standby generator so I can't complain much. Although my wife is complaining..I'm not sure why.

Anyone know what the south jersey DMV lines are like? I still need to renew my license but the Rahway DMV has lines wrap around the outside of the building and it's taking hours. I'm actually willing to drive like Cardiff or Vineland at this point if the lines will be tolerable.
