    Cool. I figured about 10’ based on bed length. My kayak is 13’. I always put
    it on my roof but I’ve wondered what it would look like sticking out of the bed lol.

    it’s not to bad sticking out lol. That’s where I want to put mine Only downside of the tent... thinking about doing a sleeping platform in the bed also so I can switch between the two if I want and put the kayaks up top like yours

    that’s exactly why I sold my tent. Loved it but just couldn’t haul my kayak or fly rod rack. Priorities I guess.

    big ass ground tent if the girlfriend is along or backpacking tent for myself lol. I’m generally towing a boat so I stay in a campground 90% of the time anyway. From last weekend

    I just don't understand why Toyota didn't offer the first gen double cabs with a manual transmission. That's just nuts in my opinion. I know I'm dreaming here, but I would have love to have had a double cab diesel with a manual here in the States.

    Here's my 03 DC im the second owner I bought it from the original owner who always had it serviced at the dealer it had 280000 miles on now its over 284000 it was completely stock. All I've done so far is add the canopy/ ditchlights/ bullbar and light bar that just came in today next up will be a lift then get the canopy paint matched and the yakima roof rackreceived_354301272246438.jpg 20200915_141456.jpg 20200915_141805.jpg 20200916_170613.jpg

    @03dblcab , I want to know how U got the camper shell to levitate off the ground for you to use the sprayer cleaning it up. Are you a magician like David Copperfield. cool looking pic. Looks like the camper shell is just floating in the air.

    Here's my 03 DC limited with about 139,859 miles on it. Just finally finished installing my front 4600 shocks. rides so much smoother than the worn out Tokico shocks. I only drive about 5k miles years, so I'm hoping this will be my last vehicle. Keep up the basic maintenance items, and these trucks should run "Almost" forever.GEDC0386.jpg

    I don't know that I'd want a diesel, but a 5 speed manual would have been a nice option for sure.

    Thank you. After getting the truck serviced at toyota I stopped by canopy west who I had already called and they said they didn't have anything in stock well I stopped there and saw the canopy sitting way back in the corner it was dirtier than the pictures I posted of it. It sat with cleaner on it for over an hour. But I saw it and asked them about it and they didn't even remember it being there and when they called snugtop on the part# they told me it had been sitting there for a few years and they wanted to get rid of it got it cleaned and installed for just over $400.00
