    Fantastic truck :thumbsup:

    Sweet heaven the heat is bad, I'm in West Texas. Almost no humidity but 109 last week sucked. Doesn't help that I have black vinyl seat covers either, I need to get some cloth ones.

    Here's mine.

    I finally found a used set of used Carhartt seat covers. Passed the vinyl ones on the left on to a fellow TWer.

    I've had my eye on a set of these for a while now, and the fitted sunshade, hard to pass up a good deal like that.

    Thanks man! I’ve got a soft spot for DCLB’s. I’ve honed in on my non-existent Tetris skills arranging shit in my short bed lol.

    Yeah this summer has been brutal. I’ve experienced dry heat when I visited Arizona as a kid and it’s quite a different feeling lol. It’s been humid as hell here and difficult to want to keep the house windows open to catch whatever breeze, but the off and on rain thinks otherwise

    The long bed was the selling point for me, for camping mostly. If I had to go shorter I'd prefer loosing the rear doors with an ACLB over a shorter bed.
    The DCSBs look slick though. I'm always impressed with their stance.

    I do miss the cooling effect of the humidity, especially when you roll down a window. Out here it's just like a big blow dryer in your face.
    And rain, I miss that too, we only get it occasionally.

    I did have an ACLB prior to this and I did enjoy having all that bed platform. But when I set my eyes on the Baja, the DCLB wasn’t a configuration. I grew annoyed by the lack of rear half door support of my ACLB, that rattle when driving through dirt and gravel roads. Plus I began having people with me a little more frequently so needed the cab space.

    And LOL! The recent close encounter with Hurricane Douglas eliminated ALL the wind as it passed north of us. Humid as shit. Past 11pm when we were safely in the clear, I opened the front door to see how the air was, like looking into an oven haha

    I am thankful for that extra seat space. It's perfect for our dog crate too.

    You guys get high heat and humidity, like a hot wet blanket. I remember that growing up in Ohio, not as hot though.

    @Z7Xtreme

    I think we need to get together and take update photos of the trucks. Both have changed since the last time.

    I love it. Black is definitely the toughest to keep clean but the most rewarding when she is clean.

    Bilstein 6112/5160 setup coming soon..
