I hope my system will run it well, CPU and RAM I should be fine but my GPU is only an RX580 (8GB) with a slight overclock.
We ordered the Logitech flight control system and now I just need to get a decent monitor and a small screen to use as my GPS screen (or an iPad stand and use fore flight).

I got to help work on one while I was in Hawaii, I had to drive the manlift for them while they "cleaned" a hyd filter. Most terrifying maintenance I think I've ever seen. They gave us a tour of the plane after though.

Disconnected a fuel line, dumped it's contents into a dirty bucket, dipped the hyd filter in the fuel a couple times, reinstalled hyd filter.

They drop off big parts for us all the time at Paine. Where I work is probably no more than 300 yards from the South end of the main runway and you can always tell when it's getting ready to takeoff from our end because they have to sit there and run engines at high power for like 3-5 minutes before they start their roll. I can usually pick it out before I see it when it's taking off the other direction too because it has a fairly distinct sound.

I’ll have to fire up my old computer and find my pics of an AN-124. Years ago was in PBI and talked with the crew of one picking up several Blackhawks to take to Europe. Ended up getting a tour and snapped some pics. Try to do it tomorrow.

They got less strict in 70-71 when I was there -- the only thing "I heard" was the security police (USAF cops) did was patrol the ends of the runway (off base) and grab any photogs camera and pull out their film and expose it. Of course us 6990th SS guys and anyone else on or near the flight line could view and film without any interference. We actually flew our RC-135 missions in sync (we did NOT fly where they did) with the "Habu" (SR-71 nickname on Okinawa) over North Viet Nam. This was to allow us to suck up any and all data generated buy the "north" during their tracking of the SR's mission. BTW their ( the SR's)hanger was right across the road from our maintenance shop out on the flightline.

Had quite a few IL-76 come through in Kuwait... Id would be on Military side and hear the IL-76 idle to full throttle on the commercial side 2 mi away

I've been around so many H and J models with the missile defense systems that it seems weird to see a bird without them.
