Interesting. I doubt mine is that smart. It's a Quadrafire 1200i Insert from 2008. I bought it second hand for cheap and put new blower motors into it and it runs great.

Sounds like an 800 needs to be acquired. I know there are some good competitors, but I like Stihl products, I feel confident in them and don't ever worry about them running.

buy the stihl oil or a case of premix with the purchase and it doubles the warranty. I have 2 of their chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and weed whacker, would 100% recommend.

I get people that want to borrow my br420 and say they have mix gas. I quickly reply take my mix and do not use anything else.
I had the 420 in the shop they put a new coil and pulley on it and cleaned the carb. Guy couldn’t start it on 2 different occasions with me present but said he just had it running before I got there. It would start intermittently before I needed the coil. I’m no mechanic so kinda at the point that I need a new one.
I believe I bought it all of 15 years ago maybe.

It's also very good at displacing water!
Yes but alcohol removes your wax too. Just keep that in mind.

I do too. I have an old 026 that I rarely use, but every single time I need it it starts right up and runs perfectly.

WD40 is awesome for use as a spray cleaner. It's best use. I call it expensive, spray kerosene.

It's also a great pretreatment. Next time you are going 4 wheeling spray it up on you fender liners and suspension before you go and cleanup afterwards will be much easier!

Yes the Tacoma's are plastic front and rear. My wife old Focus used that carpet stuff. Its supposed to cut down road noise.
    Ok cool!

That's what the GMC has. Even after you clean it, it still looks like crap.

    Did it? Just curious.

Chevy uses them too I think, not an uptrim thing to GMC.

Ford's trucks (most domestic trucks really) are impressively quiet inside so that might be a factor.

Ward's did a review of the 2.7 Ecoboost in 2018 and agreed: https://www.wardsauto.com/engines/2018-winner-ford-f-150-27l-ecoboost-twin-turbo-v-6

"It’s not just the numbers that leave us smitten with the 2.7L EcoBoost. Our staff was slack-jawed by its vibration-free idle and its nearly imperceptible stop/start system. At running speed, the cabin is tomb-like quiet – perhaps one of the engineering benefits of placing a small V-6 in a massive engine compartment. We’ve been in luxury cars that aren’t as quiet."

That’s appealing, always having to tear apart cars for sound deadening is getting old!

Hey guys 7-8 of these at my dump! Look super clean, any of you gmc guys have interest?

    Morning all.
My F150 had that too. A close going-over with the 15 degree nozzle on the power washer was about the only way to get it looking 'clean'
It is a lot quieter when your tires throw a rock, though.
