I switched out my pedals to another bike. LBS didn't have much in stock, so I bought some on Ebay. I received 3 tubes of toothpaste from the seller, no pedals. Had these in the garage and threw them on. The sandals do not have cleats on them currently. I'm also wearing socks with them. That probably does not help my case. :notsure:

I got a great deal (Craigslist) on the Equip-D, with an add-on right before COVID hit. Coming from the Quik Rack single, I have to say the upgrade is totally worth it if you can afford it. The upgraded levers make for a much smoother operation. After using the rack for about 5 months, I don't notice any wear on the teeth of the glide bar. Which was not my experience with the single Quik Rack. The handle location on the Equip-D is also in a much easier location to operate. In general the whole rack feels beefier.

The only downside I could see, which is really not that bad as I keep the rack on the truck the majority of the time, was that you have to use an allen key to fold up the rack for storage. The Quik Rack has those blue levers that make folding it a breeze. Overall, I'm loving it. I can unload and load the bike in about 15 secs.

Take bike names out of the equation and what do you think an ease dropper would think of this?

Looks like it fits perfect. I’m thinking about getting either the Fox or the Dakine, probably whatever I can get a deal on.

One thing I hate almost more than anything in the world is when you wreck and having the bike land on top of you. Is it not enough that I've gone down? Do I now have to get smacked by my bike as well?!

They should compensate him in some way. Will they? Doubtful, unless he asks.

Local guy gave me this Bomber Strap for free.99, so far seems to do the job. It's a little fiddly getting the thing on there, down tube strap is easy but to get the little straps on the fork you have to reach through the spokes. Still, wont me using it all the time since I have the 1Up racks, but for quick trips around town and getting it for free, I'll take it.

That’s a pretty cool system for hauling one bike. Something I’d buy if in the market. Looks like you scored it for the right price. ;)
$128 new. I was unaware of this until you posted it, thanks.

To be very clear, I would not pay that for this product. I would just get a full pad for that price.

I'm pretty sure when they came on the market it was cheaper, like 70-80. I may be misremembering though

Agreed. I’m not from NC, but WNC gets much love from this guy.
