4runner suspension on 2nd gen tacoma?

Just curious if a 2020 4runner suspension will fit onto a 2nd gen tacoma. Someone is selling local and wanted to see if they were compatible. I found only a couple threads, but they were for a 3rd gen tacoma. Thanks.

2nd gen tacomas have all the same mounting as a 3rd gen. So in that respect if it fits a 3rd gen, it will fit a second gen.

However, I remember reading somewhere that the lower mount on the 4runner shock is a little wider than the tacoma.

it is wider but you can slightly pry your lower mount and it will fit
