If you go Passenger when you were supposed to go Driver, you're gonna have a bad time

It has the rear locker? I wouldn't add a front one until you start wheeling in places where it's necessary. You can hit a lot of gnarly trails with 4wd and a rear locker + tires/armor etc.

Unless you're going to be opening the front up to re-gear or something, then it would make sense to do it while youre in there

    I was being facetious :luvya:

I'm actually very partial to the lunchbox locker myself. I think it's the absolute best bang for the buck, especially the Aussie ones with the hypoid gear, i installed one in a Ford 9" that was under an econoline and boy howdy what a freaking difference it makes! For 90% of people that take a vehicle "off road" they wouldn't need anything else

Im doing lockers front and back because i wanna go full send and do the best without all the headache of changing geometry for bigger tires and lift.. watching Australians wheel with only 31 or 33s and lockers has proven to me i just need more skill not bigger tires (for my driving style)

Between the arb and the harrop im only going with the harrop because electricity is my thing and the engagement is almost as instantaneous as the art.

I want to install another AC pump that's converted to air compressor (like the old school York pumps) so I can air up tires and I have the ability to use air tools on a trail if necessary without needing an aux tank ... all my extra space is gonna be taken up by camper stuff like a water tank and propane tank

I had a Lockrite lunchbox in my '99 Prerunner many years ago. Couldn't afford a selectable then, the lockrite worked great but that fucker was noisy on the street. Would turn heads whenever I took a slow corner lol

I wouldn't even consider a front locker if it wasn't for needing shorter gears. Going 60 on the highway at 1800rpm is cool and all but the constant shifting to pass someone sucks lol

I've read a lot of good things about lunchbox lockers as well, plus they're stupidly affordable.

I just threw out the idea in the event that someone would mention the ARB. Just trying to justify to myself why I should go with A vs B.

For instance, I won't be running co2 for airing up because I don't want to have a tank inside the vehicle....if something bad happened (even if .01% chance), that co2 tank would displace so much oxygen in a heartbeat.

That'd just further encourage me to run an ARB compressor + their locker.

    Ideas....that's all.

Those Aussies do some crazy shit though, I can watch their videos for hours.
