The price went up a little but here's the Amazon link:

As far as durability and performance I have no real world experience but based on the worst reviews I read about them, they will work a few times for light duty applications before failing. Since I just want them to boost traction in snow and ice I think they should work perfectly fine for me.

I had an issue with my truck when filling up. Unless I held the gas handle down just a little bit to let gas trickle in at an absurdly low rate, the pump would repeatedly cut off. I could maybe get in a half gallon at full flow before it would cut off.

Started happening around 33k miles. Took it in to the dealer right before hitting the 36k warranty expiration and they found the valve from the filler neck was stuck in the halfway position. Ended up getting a new gas tank out of it because I guess the valve from the neck is inside the tank? I'm also on the recall list for the fuel pump issue but I dont know if thats taking into account the new tank that got installed.

I have the G2, which uses the same rails. In your opinion, is it going to leak where those brackets go under the tonneau rails? This has been my only cause for not purchasing yet!

Simple but important mod. Digging how low it is, and surprisingly doesn't rattle when off road.

Those don't have the mounts or the fancy carry case.

Installed new Kicker speakers in the front doors today. Nice upgrade from the thin, lightweight stock ones. Pretty simple to do. Eventually will do the tweeters and back doors. Ordered from Crutchfield:‪ new front speakers.jpg new front speakers 1.jpg new front speakers 2.jpg new front speakers 3.jpg

How's the bass compared to the stock speakers? Did you add an amp with the install?

It's definitely an improvement with the bass, and overall sound. I didn't add an amp, and probably won't unless I have to. Obviously, adding an amp/sub will give you a big boost...but this seems sufficient for me for the time being. When I add the tweeters and rear door eventually, I'm sure it will be a night and day difference from stock even without an amp.

i took it to 2 different places

the roof at the first place was 400$ for 3m.
The same place wanted 550$ for the hood which made no sense to me. They wouldn’t meet me in the middle so I went somewhere else for the hood, which cost $150. The vinyl on the hood isn’t 3m but Avery instead. You can’t tell the difference

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
    Get some
Get some sound deadener in there while you have the panels off. It will improve bass response quite a bit plus reduce road noise.

I have a set of LEDs from Tacomabeast but I've chickened out on installing them after reading a bunch of horror stories from people who fried their body ECU from the install. Hard to believe a light bulb could cause so much trouble but it's got me spooked.

I have never had a problem with a car, boat, or airplane where the manufacturer didn’t tell me they’ve never seen the problem before. Even twice when I handed them the TSB
